Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Puxi Opens as the Biggest Marriott Brand in China
Hospitality industry giant Marriott International proudly opens Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Puxi, the brand’s largest hotel in China, joining the local portfolio that includes the 318-room Courtyard by Marriott Hotel Shanghai Pudong, and the 364-room Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Xujiahui.
“Courtyard is a brand that resonates very well here in Shanghai,” said the company’s spokesperson Mr.Chiang. “It provides great value to our in-house guests but at the same time brings to the neighborhood a modern, trendy and attractive venue where people can gather, enjoy and relax.”
Contemporary furniture and bright colors embellish the new hotel, creating a welcoming and sociable atmosphere for guests, who can also gather informally in the stylish, open-space lobby and lounge areas.
Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Puxi also offers large guestrooms with amenities such as Deluxe bedding, 37-inch LCD panel TVs, iHome docking stations and satellite channels to ensure that guests can enjoy down time and unwind. Moreover, well-lit work areas, high speed internet, laptop-size safes and the latest in-room technology tools are also offered to help increase the productivity of guests who need to work away from their workplaces.
The hotel also boasts an executive lounge on the top floor so guests can enjoy the stunning panoramic view of the city, where they can also savor complimentary breakfast, evening drinks and snacks. MoMo Café has an open kitchen and wood-fire oven that produce pleasing aromas and set up a warm home-like ambiance that makes the restaurant inviting to both guests and locals. Meanwhile, guests “on the run” can visit the “grab and go” kiosk called MoMo 2 Go which provides quick and tasty beverage and snack selections.
Furthermore, the new Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Puxi, along with more than 3,100 Marriott-affiliated hotels worldwide, partake in Marriott Rewards, the guest reward program that permits its over 30 million members to gain points or airline miles for each dollar spent during each stay.
