Extensive Travel Opportunity Now Possible in Brazil
Travelers can now explore the largest country in South America to discover the fascinating culture and hottest tourist spots, as Star Alliance Brazil Airpass provides a groundbreaking opportunity for travel enthusiasts to indulge themselves in the beauty of Brazil at greater value and convenience.
The Brazil Airpass permits tourists to travel across the entire domestic network of more than 45 destinations served by TAM Airlines. Holiday-makers can freely customize and choose the routing, where they need to cover between four and nine flight coupons. They can visit each city once, although connecting flights through the same airports are permitted. Meanwhile, the fare varies according to the number of coupons purchased and vacant booking class.
“The Star Alliance Brazil Airpass is a further example of the customer benefits which only an airline alliance can provide. By working with our member carrier TAM Airlines, we are now in a position to provide a great value for money fare product to all customers travelling on Star Alliance member carrier flights to Brazil and wishing to explore the diverse attractions this fascinating country has to offer”, said Christopher Korenke, Vice President Commercial of Star Alliance.
In combination with an international ticker on any Star Alliance member carrier to Brazil, the Brazil Airpass can be bought by all non-Brazilian residents. Moreover, travelers are also allowed to purchase the airpass in addition to a Star Alliance Round-the-World ticket, with a routing that includes a destination in Brazil.
Star Alliance’s launch of the Brazil Airpass follows the recent union with Brazilian airline TAM. The collaboration has allowed Star Alliance to increase its presence in South America. In addition to TAM, Star Alliance member carriers namely Air Canada, Air China, Continental Airlines, Lufthansa, South African Airways, SWISS, TAP, Turkish Airlines, United and US Airways all provide air travel to Brazil.
With the Brazil Airpass, Star Alliance now features a total of 14 different fare products, varying from the well-known Round-the-World airfare to circle fares and regional airpasses.
