SPI to Participate in South Africa’s VOASA Timeshare Convention

A provider of software and IT products for the timeshare industry, SPI Software announced its participation in the Vacation Ownership Association of South Africa (VOASA) conference on August 29 to 31.

The company’s Vice President for Sales, Matt Brosious, will be a speaker at the convention set to be held in Durban. Brosius is scheduled to speak on the subject, “Positioning your Brand and Social Media”, at 8:15 am on the last day of the conference.

As an experienced senior executive who spent years dealing in the timeshare industry, Brosious will be sharing his experience gathered while consulting with clients involved in the timeshare business, as well as those in vacation or shared ownership trade.  Among his frequent collaborators are both sizeable resort developers and smaller entrepreneurial companies, with whom he shared SPI’s programs uniquely designed for timeshare operations.

SPI was founded in 1978 and is based in Miami, in convenient proximity to the largest timeshare companies that make their home in the Sunshine State. One of the company’s demos for the South African talk will be its Orange Systems software suite, which uses a Microsoft-NET-based system. It is also available in separate modules for marketing, sales, property management, or centralized reservations. The software can even be tailored for financial management, including maintenance fees and receivables servicing.

Focusing on issues in the vacation ownership industry, the upcoming conference will be the second hosted by VOASA and is sponsored by Interval International. It will be held in the Southern Sun Elangeni Hotel, situated on Durban’s dazzling North Beach. An apt location for timeshare executives to gather, the magnificent stretch of coastline overlooks Durban’s famous Golden Mile and the sparkling unspoiled waters of the Indian Ocean.
