Perennial Vacation Club is unique among timeshare resorts. It is classified as a Not-for Profit Organization, as it is not just member-owned but also member-managed. The club’s mission is to “create vacations that enrich members’ lives”.
The club’s 100,000 members elect a board of directors who appoint a president, and the members’ annual fees go directly into operations and maintenance. Perennial owns 5 resorts in the US and Dominican Republic, but the club’s Direct Exchange program offers access to approximately 5,000 more worldwide through its affiliated resorts as well as RCI.
