To date, the company has more than 200,000 owners, all enjoying the benefits of remaining free from the rising costs of vacation rental properties and hotels. The company recently developed a sophisticated reservation system that allows its owners to make reservations whenever it is best for them. With this program called “Floating Time,” owners can save their week or borrow a week from the future and create extended vacations.
Another innovative system developed by the company is the “Lock-Off” suite. This lets owners divide their one vacation week into two vacation weeks of usage. Owners can give yearly vacation time to friends or relatives and let them enjoy the luxury their home resort or any resort in which they have executed an exchange. Owners have special privileged rates and can now extend their vacation time by buying additional nights at specially discounted rates only available to them. They can also exchange their week and pick from hundreds of locations around the world with Interval International.
