Wynn Las Vegas, the only casino resort in the world to receive the Mobil 5 Star, AAA 5 Diamond and Michelin 5 Red Pavilions awards, recently unveiled its first completely renovated resort rooms that now feature rich new furnishes. Designed by Executive Vice President of Design for Wynn Design and Development, Roger Thomas, the property’s rooms, despite being fully refurbished, maintain their functionality, spaciousness, configuration and casually elegant residential quality- features that have become a Wynn Resorts trademark. The renovation project includes changing wallpaper, carpets, chairs, couches and lamps and encompasses all guest rooms and suites.
“While we have always designed our guest accommodations to be residential, this line is so luxurious and so beautiful; I could take it home with me! This is the way I live,” said Thomas, who has designed guest rooms for Steve Wynn for 30 years.
Wynn’s new Resort Deluxe room features a modern update to the company’s classic resort room. The space has crisp, neutral and creamy décor and is draped with natural light coming from the floor-to-ceiling windows, accentuated by an assortment of contemporary furnishings and fabrics. In addition, the room also features advanced technologies including remotely controlled lighting, drapery and room service messaging. They are the pinnacle of guest convenience and privacy. Guests who choose to stay in this 640 square-foot retreat can choose between one king bed or two double beds.
The upgraded Panoramic View Deluxe room, an enhanced hideaway featuring wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows, offers guests a space evocative of a residence yet as indulgent as a retreat. This newly renovated space, enhanced with a bright, buttery palette and bespoke furnishings, features breath-taking views of the Las Vegas Strip and Wynn’s 18-hole golf course. Fully automated and more intuitive than ever, the Panoramic View Deluxe is offered as a king or a double room.
